Neal Howard Neal Howard
Much of Neal’s civil and criminal trial work is sought by clients for its emotional and dramatic impact. He has been involved in the communication industry since 1983 and is a highly regarded consultant and writer in the legal, corporate, government and non-profit arenas.
He played a pivotal role in the successful prosecution of Thomas Blanton, Jr. the KKK member convicted in the infamous Alabama Church Bombing and Edgar Ray Killen convicted in the “Mississippi Burning” murders.
Other notable cases include the landmark verdict against the Lead Paint industry by the State of Rhode Island in 2006, the successful defense of Novartis Pharmaceuticals in the first Phenylpropanolamine/PPA litigation (National Law Journal Ten Most Significant Defense Verdicts of 2004) and MGM Studios in a record-breaking invasion of privacy action (National Law Journal Ten Most Significant Defense Verdicts of 2001). Involvement in two top ten verdicts in four years is a track record matched by few other consultants.
Neal’s litigation activities include a special emphasis on overall trial strategy, trial themes, developing opening statements and closing arguments and daily trial tactics. He also has extensive focus group and research experience and has been invited to speak for numerous trial lawyer associations.

His corporate activities include a variety of internal and external communications projects ranging from national advertising and marketing campaigns to major investor, media and employee presentations.
